How Paysera nurtures team spirit at its annual Summer Fest

Paysera summer event in Lithuania.
Ever wondered what Paysera’s Summer Fest looks like and what exactly is going on during this special occasion? Here’s a glance from inside. A word of caution before you do: seeing this much fun may make you want to work at Paysera!

A tradition that Payserians look forward to every year

As summer approaches, Payserians – both new and veteran – know it’s time for one of the most exciting events on our calendar: the annual Summer Fest. And what could feel more like summer than a fiesta-themed party?

Just like any great fiesta, we’ve enjoyed tapas, paella, sombreros, and lots of bright colours with our colleagues. But no matter the theme, we always include kayaking and team bonding games as part of the tradition.

Let the barriers between departments fall!

Having a reliable team is great, especially since we spend so much time at work. But it's also important to work well with people from other departments – everyone’s work is interconnected, after all.

For example, when a hypothetical Susan from Marketing teams up with a hypothetical Jack from IT, knowing each other personally can make a big difference. It’s much easier to collaborate effectively when you’re familiar with one another beyond just online messages.

Spending time together outside of work tasks – whether through fun activities or friendly competitions – helps build stronger relationships and better teamwork. And it's not just a theory; it’s something we've seen to be true time and time again.

This is why Paysera works hard to create fun events, like the Summer Fest, where employees from different departments can bond outside of work.

Something even bigger is coming up!

If you think our Summer Fest was fun… Just wait until you see what we have planned for Paysera’s 20th birthday. Two decades of running a successful business is no small feat and 11 October 2024 will be a date to remember. Newbies and veterans alike are invited, so if you want to celebrate with us – check out our open positions and join!
